Two Nigerians, Egwuasu Bernard Nnaemeka and Egwuasu Chimiezi Benjamin aged 32 and currently residing in Malaysia have been arrested and charged at the magistrate’s court with criminal conspiracy.
The duo were accused of duping ex-teacher Nor Faizah Othman, 48, and making her to suffer a loss of RM148,490 which is about 13 Million in Naira between April 21 and June 12, 2017.
The accused pleaded not guilty to the charge read before magistrate Nurunaim Abdullah but if found guilty, they are mostly likely to get a five year jail term and fine.
Egwuasu Bernard Nnaemeka and Egwuasu Chimiezi Benjamin have been denied bail and mention and appointment of counsel have been fixed for November 23.
