Theophilus Sunday is a Nigerian gospel minister, worship leader and songwriter, known for his deep worship style marked by chants, prophetic songs and intimate worship. He was born on 9th May 1987 in Dekina, Kogi State, Nigeria.
He attended Ochaja Boys Secondary School in Kogi State, and thereafter obtained a degree in Theatre Arts from Kogi State University (KSU), Anyigba. He completed the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) between late 2012 and October 2013.
Sunday is the convener of the True Worshippers Concert and leads a worship group called “1Spirit.” He draws spiritual mentorship from figures like Apostle Arome Osayi.
His musical style combines traditional Nigerian worship elements with spontaneous, prophetic, and deep worship chants. He is known for invoking strong spiritual encounters during his music ministry.
He is married to Ashley White, originally from Jamaica, who is a former beauty queen and involved in real estate.
